📱 How to book a ride on Grab App
1. Download and Install the Grab App
- Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for “Grab” and install the official app.
- Open the app and sign in using your phone number, email, or a social login (Google/Facebook).
2. Set Your Pick-Up Location
- On the home screen, tap the “Where to?” search box.
- Enter your current location (e.g., “NAIA Terminal 1 Or NAIA Terminal 3”).
- The app may auto-detect your location using GPS (make sure location services are ON).
3. Enter Your Destination
- In the same screen, type “Shangri-La Ortigas” (or any exact address/hotel name).
- Confirm the correct drop-off spot.
4. Choose the Ride Type
Grab shows different ride options — tap the one you want:
- GrabCar – private car (fixed fare).
- GrabTaxi – metered taxi booked through Grab.
- GrabCar 6-seater – for more passengers.

5. Check the Fare & Confirm
- The app will show the estimated fare before you book.
- Confirm your ride by tapping Book or Confirm.
- You will see your driver’s details (name, plate number, and ETA).

Grab now has an Advance Booking feature where you can schedule rides 2 hours up to several days before your pick-up time — especially useful for airport transfers. Enter the date and time, pick-up location, and destination just like a normal booking, then confirm.
