Welcome Messages

Dr. SantosDear Colleagues,

It is our great honor to hold the 18th Congress of the Asian-Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Disease (APSAVD) in Manila this April 8-10, 2026 in partnership with the Philippine Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society (PLAS) and the Philippine Society of Hypertension (PSH). This year’s gathering is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 30th year of APSAVD in our commitment to advancing cardiovascular health across the Asia-Pacific region.

Our theme, “Championing Cardiovascular Disease Treatment and Prevention in the Asia-Pacific Region,” captures both the urgency of our mission and the collective strength of our community.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to PLAS and PSH for their exceptional leadership and hospitality. To all our delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners, may this congress provide a venue to foster stronger collaborations and meaningful scientific exchanges. Your presence enhances our collective resolve to champion cardiovascular health with purpose and compassion.

May this congress inspire us, challenge us, and unite us in our mission to build a healthier Asia-Pacific region.
